We couldn't stop trying all the little pastries. Very fresh, not too sweet, really well made. Anything with zambaione is divine. The kind of old shop charm that you feel gratefull to see still appreciated. VERY busy but super fast and efficient service. Lovely ladies behind the counter who clearly knew what they were doing. Great coffee and I was introduced to the cafe crema which is a summer delight.
On holiday in Parma? Don't eat a tourist breakfast in your hotel, rather sit at a table (inside or out) in this historic cafe and enjoy good coffee and delicious pastries among the locals. Gualtiero Pagani is the 5th generation of his family to run this 150 year old pasticceria in Parma's historic centre, and his parents are still ther emost days manning the counter. If you like Sicilian crostoli, you'll adore Parma's cannoncino!
The best croissants are here, don’t miss out:)
The staff is very friendly and nice
Excellent food, tried pistacchio croissant and cannoncino zabaione and both were amazing (best zabaione I've tried ever). Went to the toilet past the kitchen and you could see that everything is handmade there. Recommend!
I had one of the best ever croissant with pistachio!! Loved this place
Historical business with exceptional pastries, all made in house. The coffee can be a bit hit and miss.
Pastry and patisserie are very good but staff and customer service are always very poor.
Friendly service, good choice of high-quality pastries
